Our name
What the Nang does Nuffnang mean?
“Nuffnang” is a word in Jafaikan. It means “Real Good/Cool!”
Jafaikan is a new multicultural dialect that is spreading amongst young Londoners, whether their parents are of Bengali, West Indian, Arab, Brazilian or London Stock.
According to research by Queen Mary, University of London, it is gaining territory from Cockney/Estuary English.
It was popularized by British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen as the gangster wannabe Ali G (Sacha is now better known internationally for his role as Borat).
