First off, the Nuffnang Cyber Games took place today at Samsung Booth in conjunction with the World Cyber Games Malaysia 2008 with Samsung as the worldwide sponsor! 7 teams of bloggers turned up with their strategies and tactics to attempt to win RM1,500 as a team and a Samsung MP3 player each. The Nuffnang team took part in it as well led by the co-founder of Nuffnang himself, Timothy Tiah. As much as the Nuffnang staffs would like to have a little bonus in the salary, we were sent packing by a team of very professional gamers led by Ben Chan.

Let’s move on the the World Cyber Games Blog Contest Winners shall we?

First off, the Samsung Favourite Entry goes to Ong Eng Gin with his wormy blog post. He walked home with a new Bluetooth MP3 Player YP-S5 courtesy of Samsung.

Next, for The Most Creative Entry blog post, Samsung has chosen 2 winners for this and they are, Soo Chooi Leang with his really cheeky blog post and Rommel Ling with his facts of Counterstrike. Chooi Leang walked home with a new Digital Still Camera NV24HD and Rommel with a MP3 Player YP-U3 from Samsung.

As for the winner of the 32″ LCD TV for The Funniest Entry, Samsung has chosen our very own co-founder, Timothy Tiah’s blog post as the winner for this category!!! However, Tim has refused to accept his prize and has decided to give it out to another blogger instead!

Now who could the lucky blogger be? Could it be you? Yes, it is possible as Tim has decided to give every single Nuffnang Glitterati blogger a chance to win a 32″ LCD TV! The initial idea was to get Nuffnangers to post pictures of them and the Samsung girls at the event but we thought it might not have been fair for people who didn’t manage to get a picture with the ladies today.

Hence, the 32″ LCD TV will be given to the Nuffnanger who writes the best blog entry about the Samsung WCG 2008 event going on this weekend.

Just write a blog entry with the title “My Experience in the World Cyber Games” and write in an email with the subject “My Experience in World Cyber Games” to samsungwcg2008@nuffnang.com with the permalink of your blog post.

Upon that, Samsung and Timothy will pick a blog post which best describes the experience in the World Cyber Games to win the Samsung 32″ LCD TV!
