To all our Muslim and non-Muslim readers, tomorrow shall be the most anticipated day for all of us especially the Muslims which is the ‘Hari Raya Aidil Fitri‘ celebration.

‘Hari Raya’ marks the end of Ramadhan month in the Islamic calendar and the start of a new month Syawal. Muslims all around the world celebrates 1st of Syawal for their successful fasting days during the Ramadhan by congregating at the mosque to perform a special prayer and reciting praises upon Allah.

This is followed by a tradition of visiting their relatives and friends while feasting on special delicacies like Lemang, Ketupat and Rendang. It is an important tradition for fellow Muslims to celebrate ‘Hari Raya’ with all their family members by going back to their parents’ hometown in which the tradition is also known as ‘balik kampung‘.

We hope that everyone will enjoy this festive season with all their beloved families and friends. We wish all of you a safe journey during the ‘balik kampung’ season and do be careful on the road for those who are driving.
