Last Saturday at Borneo Baruk Club, Malaysia had its first Silent Halloween courtesy of Nokia along with Nuffnang bloggers. It was an event like no other as even the day wasn’t even dark yet, we saw a mummy registering herself to the party.

That wasn’t all as there were hungry ghosts everywhere and unfortunately, someone had to be their meal.

As expected from Nuffnang’s costume parties, almost all of the bloggers who turned up were in their most horrible outlook. Take a look at the succubus and Kurt Cobain below for example.

Or even the deceased Marilyn Monroe (Ringo from Cheeserland) who showed up in the party and a slightly chubby Michael Jackson (Kenny Sia all the way from Kuching) from his music video Thriller.

And of course, what Nuffnang party is complete without the happening emcee Liang, who came as the dead Elvis for the party.

When the sun went down and the night was there, all the deceased ones started partying. They wasted no time to enjoy themselves while mingling around with other wicked ones.

It was very unfortunate for anyone who came across the paths of our bloggers as they were terrified left, right and center and even when they’re serving the bloggers dinner.

Fun and joy were aplenty during the night as bloggers hunted each other’s balloon for a prize money of RM100 in cash,

mummified one another with toilet papers,

and not to mention we had the first ever Silent Dance Party, where all the bloggers were dancing with earphones or headphones in their ears but there surrounding were absolutely quiet. It was definitely a sight to behold.

the participation of Nokia IAC bands in Nuffnang parties which rocked the house and bloggers totally loved them,

and a guy dressed up as Paris Hilton, winning the best dressed prize for Female Category.

A total of 9 Nokia XpressMusic phones were given out as prizes to the deserving bloggers on that night for their wonderful display of courage, personality and expression. But the fun didn’t stop there as there is still a grand prize awaiting which is the Nokia N96 for the best post event blog post. For more information, refer to our previous blog post.

The Nuffnang Nokia Silent Halloween was no doubt one of our best events which we had great time putting it together thanks to the support of Nokia and our partners MEDIACOM, JWT and Text100. We hope all the bloggers who attended this event enjoyed it and keep your fingers crossed as we’ll always be back for more fun and exciting community events for our bloggers.
