Obama tapped into the power of social networking with the help of 24-year-old Chris Hughes, who at Harvard was helping launch Facebook with his roommates. Hughes took leave from Facebook to do online organizing for Obama. In the end, Obama’s email list numbered 13 million people, of whom more than 3.5 million were donors or volunteers, or both!

On March 2nd, Roger Fisk will be addressing to the marketeers of various companies in Malaysia about his journey and experience. Aside from sharing his experience, there will also be discussion panels which many of the attendees can look forward to as he’ll be joined by media owners, educators, entrepreneurs, lawyers, businessmen, politicians and even bloggers on various key issues such as “The Power of the New Media” and “Is There Hope for Change?”
