Recently the Nuffnang team discovered a new place to hang out online. It’s the Chill Lah Plex™ by NESCAFÉ®. There, we learned how to speak in homonyms.
Homonyms actually meant Two English words that sound alike but have different meanings.
They can be spelled the same ie
- trunk (meaning part of an elephant)
- trunk (meaning a storage chest)
Or
They can be spelled differently ie
- days (meaning more than one day)
- daze (meaning to bewilder)
Dad mints the NoughNang be log wheel noun bee in home more nyms!! Hurray!!
(That means the Nuffnang blog will now be in homonyms!! Hurray!!)
Okay, we’re just kidding. But if you wish to learn more about homonyms or contribute new homonyms, just hangout at Chill Lah Plex™ and add your homonyms into the Chill Lah Pedia.
While you’re there, why not check out their ongoing contest for script writing. The contest is open to everyone to come up with a script featuring any or all of the NESCAFÉ® Chilled Coffee cans as long as the story is original. So if you’re a storyteller, a blogger, a grandfather who is good at telling bedtime stories, penglipur lara or a politician, feel free to join the contest as you’ll win RM2,000 cash prize just for making it to the Top 20 of the contest!
Here’s a good news if you’re a Nuffnang blogger who’s taking part in this contest. Dr. Evil: I like to see girls of that… caliber.
By “caliber,” of course, I refer to both the size of their gun barrels and the high quality of their characters… Two meanings… caliber… it’s a homonym… Forget it.
