Walt Disney Pictures present A Christmas Carol in 3D for Nuffnangers this coming November!
SYPNOSIS
“DISNEY’S A CHRISTMAS CAROL,” a multi-sensory thrill ride re-envisioned by Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Robert Zemeckis, captures the fantastical essence of the classic Dickens tale in a groundbreaking 3D motion picture event.
Ebenezer Scrooge (JIM CARREY) begins the Christmas holiday with his usual miserly contempt, barking at his faithful clerk (GARY OLDMAN) and his cheery nephew (COLIN FIRTH). Scrooge later encounters the ghost of his dead business partner Joseph Marley, who’s paying the price in the afterlife for his own callousness. Marley hopes to help Scrooge avoid a similar fate and tells him that he will be visited by three spirits. But when the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come take Old Scrooge on an eye-opening journey revealing truths he’s reluctant to face, he must open his heart to undo years of ill will before it’s too late.

Ohhh…!!!!I love this tale.I’d really love to watch this movie!!!
Okay..here goes. This is what my Ghosts would tell me:-
Past: When you were a child, you were not afraid to dream. You dared to dream of doing great things, unheard of before and people encouraged you to dream. The world was an exciting place then.
Present: Time passed and now you’re no longer a child. People tell you to dream less, work more. They tell you, “Dreaming doesn’t get you anywhere.” Some dreams have already been killed. So you do the same thing everyday. Not daring to do different. The world isn’t so exciting now…boring sometimes.
Yet to Come: The future is determined by your choices. I am not set in stone. But there are always two outcomes. Good or bad. Keep your dreams alive and work for them. Something great will be in store for you in the future. Give up on them and then surely you will not expect anything because you have not done anything. Things don’t have to be complicated.
I hope I get the tickets!!

Ghosts of Christmas Past: Those times you stayed under the Xmas tree waiting for Santa is a waste of time… No, it’s not that Santa doesn’t exist, it’s just that you kept falling asleep.
Ghosts of Christmas Present: You still fall asleep in your attempt to catch Santa in the act.
Ghosts of Christmas Yet to Come: Your kids saw Santa! You didn’t! Pig.
I’m typing all these out while feeling sleepy (as usual), hence the answers =S

The ghost of Christmas Past will certainly tell me the fact that because I was so picky with food when I was a kid, I’ll never grow taller which is why I am the size I am right now. She would remind me just how horrible I was when I was a kid when it came to eating food I dislike and show me just how much food I rejected that was good for my body.
The Ghost of Christmas Present will obviously show the image of how I am like currently and the things that will happen to me BECAUSE of my present state of body.
The Ghost of Yet to Come will show a midget version of me when I am old, probably I would die from being sat or stepped on because I am so petite and I continue to shrink as I age.
Now that is one sad looking death i would be witnessing
So save me and let me watch A Christmas Carol to learn my lesson so that I’ll start eating healthily in the present to prevent such horrible Yet to Come things occurring to me!
Who knows? If this saves me I might just die as a average height woman :)

My ghost of Christmas past will be a fat ugly gym instructor ghost telling me that i should have exercise more rather than sleeping all the time when I was a kid coz if I do by now I’ll have 6 packs nice solid abs and not 1 big round tummy

Ghost of Christmas past: The world before is so natural, green, and without pollution. Even, the Uncle Sun treated human well with mild sunshine. Everything was seemed perfect!
Ghost of Christmas present: Human treated this world so badly with all those pollution, Uncle Sun would punish human with warm and hot sunshine to make human suffer. You guys should make some good effort to this world. Otherwise, the day of Armageddon would come to you.
Ghost of Christmas yet to come: Human has done a good job! I would like to give the biggest gift to human which, the world would exist forever!
Have you ever wonder why there were big differences about the world environment between before and present? Before, you would feel the sunshine is mild enough. But now, you could feel the heat is burning your skin. We as a human should do something on it! Is it sounds good if you know that your next generation would still able to live well? :)

GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PAST reminded me that my grandmother left us for a better place due to colon cancer. I was still in kindergarden when she passed away. Not knowing what is happening. My relatives gathered around her bed,crying in the hospital the day she passed away, and I was still shouting and playing beside her.
GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PRESENT : Although your grandma has passed away for many years, the memories of both of you has been retrieved after looking back at the old photos in the photo album. I still remembered when you attended the funeral back then, you had no clue of what is happening at that very moment. But now, pieces of the memories puzzles is finally back.
”Grandma, I missed you. I’m sorry I didn’t appreciate you while I had the chance.”

The ghost of Christmas PAST would tell me that I make him wanna puke cause I’m the typical Malaysian that celebrates Christmas… eat too much, party too much, and a definitely sucker for freebies, especially those from a certain blog advertising company….
The ghost of Christmas PRESENT would tell me to please do things differently this year because he’s sick and tired of the ghost of christmas past complaining about my typical Malaysian Christmas celebration every year.

This movie is going to be very meaningful to me for this Christmas, I hope I can get the invites, here goes……
10 years back, on the day of Christmas, the Ghost of Christmas “past” came to me for a visit while I’m peacefully drinking my cup of hot chocolate, he says:
“I come to warn you my child…… You always think about Christmas, but you had forgotten the true meaning of it. Only if you understand the true meaning of Christmas shall you truly feel it and appreciate its magic…… Search it, search for it!” And he vanished……
Then lately, Ghost of Christmas “present” revisited me again, I offered him a drink this time seeing that I didn’t for his previous visit. He refused, instead, he says:
“You are not doing it! Young lad! Have you forgotten what I told you 10 years back? Have you ever wonder why you aren’t able to enjoy Christmas as everybody else does? Think, my lad, THINK!” Without further word, he vanished with a face full of disappointment……
I don’t know when will old Ghost of Christmas “yet to come” will tell me the next time. But I do know one things which is that he will not need to give me any warnings anymore, Because I finally understands the true meaning of Christmas……
If ever old Ghost of Christmas “yet to come” revisited me again……
“Well?” said old Ghost of Christmas.

The ghost of my past would come, take one look at me and shriek, “Why the hell are you still so blinking short??” He would then take me thru my memories of being ridiculed for being the ‘ai zai tok’ (midget la) throughout my childhood years.
The present ghost will show me how that inferiority has manifested itself into my collection of uber high heels. He’d say, “Just because you’re short doesn’t mean you should splurge on….OH MY GOD, are those Jimmy Choos?? Thats its, im confiscating these. And these. And those there….and…”
The future ghost will show me my future legs riddled with huge, disgusting spider veins, deformed feet and terrible back posture. The bulgy green veins will be enough to scare me back into wearing more sensible shoes.

As for my ghost of the present would come to tell me that there is no use of regretting of what you have spent with your credit card and left you with all the debts.. you should have thought hard before using it..of course, the ghost of the present would be laughing hard at me seeing me with my sad look..

Ghost of Christmas present: It would show me what is going in the world right now. How everything is in chaos and some good side of it all. It would show me all the mistakes i have done and chances i was going to miss if i did not do anything about it.

My Ghost of Christmas Past : The ghost would be from year 2004 Christmas eve. That time, I was in a camp at a seaside in Langkawi island and Tsunami had struck our camp site. It would remind me how lucky I am that I should even appreciate my life more as I am still alive even after that incident.
My Ghost of Christmas Present : It will tell me that I have managed to get a pair of tickets of “DISNEY’S A CHRISTMAS CAROL” in 3D premiere screening from Nuffnang and that’s the best Christmas gift for this year. *fingers cross*

It was the night before Christmas. Dark, humid, warm. (Malaysia ma, where got snow) Eating Pringles, doing nothing. Everyone else was asleep. Suddenly, my Pringles can started to shake, all my pink coloured Pringles fell to the floor. I started picking up the chips and when I looked up there she was, myself at age 13 standing there. I fell back, my potato chips fell again. (I know… what the?)
GOCPast: I’m your ghost of Christmas past. *smiles* Holy crap! You looked so shocked, have you never looked in the mirror before when you were 13??
Me: What the! I thought this shit only happens in movies? and No, I was fat then.
GOCPast: *annoyed* I’m still standing here,stupid! and you’re still fat now!
Me: OK.. OK, don’t like kill me or anything. What you want from me?
GOCPast: I want to show you how fat you were when you were 13. You should have taken better care of yourself. You never exercised, never even bothered to go out of the house. You missed out on so much just because you were overweight! You left your boyfriend because you thought you were not good enough for him!
Me: *sobbing* I know, I’m fat, can you please stop saying that?!
GOCPast: Okay, I will stop saying that because I have to go eat now. Curse the body you left me in!
I’m still sobbing and then I realised that the stupid ghost stole my Pringles and left me a note that read : They didn’t have pink pringles back there and you will be visited by 2 more people.
I went downstairs to get a cup of hot chocolate and there she was, waiting for me. It was like looking in the mirror, still fat.
GOCPresent: What the hell do you think you are doing?! Didn’t you get the message from the last ghost?! No hot chocolate for you, go upstairs now.
Me: Aren’t you going to use your ghostly powers and transport us upstairs?
GOCPresent: No stupid, we’re walking. Every year, you tell yourself to lose weight, to look prettier so you can camwhore like everyone else. Make your parents proud of you, make yourself proud. Look at yourself! You’re fat, and seriously need to lose weight. You can’t buy pretty clothes because you can’t wear them! So depressing! You can’t even get a boyfriend! Don’t you have any love for yourself?
Me: OK, I get the point, so when’s the last ghost coming? She can kill the rest of my self-esteem then bring me to hell for being fat.
GOCPresent: She’s waiting for you upstairs, I shall leave you now.
Me: *mumbles to self* Die die lah!
I open my room door and there she was, the ghost of Christmas yet to come and in a pink robe.
(So wrong! and not scary)
GOCYetToCome: *points to a humongous pit in my room*
Me: Oh My God! What have you done?! Dad’s going to kill me.
GOCYetToCome: *keeps pointing*
Me: What the hell! *walks closer to the pit to see what is going on and see myself in a mirror at the bottom of the pit, thrice the of what I am now. Triple chins, massive rolls. I couldn’t recognize myself. I didn’t want to believe it!* No! No! That can’t be me! I can’t be fat my whole life! Do I even get married? or get a decent job? Can I even walk being so heavy?? That can’t happen! *starts to cry* I will go to the gym more often, I promise! I cannot die like that. I promise! Will things be different if I started losing weight ghost of christmas yet to come??

The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come disappears and left me an envelope. Inside it was a life membership to a nearby gym and a picture of myself at my 21st birthday party looking fabulous!

without knowing and feeling so ridiculous, she disappeared
and Mr GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PAST show up…. I been blowing to a place when
i was 5 years old
Throwing the bowl to my mum and screaming around
Jumping on the table running at the living hall
my face is fulled with dirty cream and rolling on the floor with all kind of food!!!!!
while my mum still take care me with patient and love
THEN a split of second i was in my secondary school chasing my friends and talking back to the teacher GHOST of christmas Present bring me back to years ago when I am a teenager
After school, I went back home alone listening to all kind of hard metal song
Talk in a very rude sound with my parent and grandmum
Shouting at my brother
Yet i still not change
My character still like when I was 5
My bf keep changing like clothes
Never realised how hurt is that to dump and play them
Looking at myself, i feel really bad and guilty
Just WHEN I am going to say “sorry” to my parent and friends
Out of sudden, I am alone in the dark
There are 2 scenes in front of me
A very successful girl, staying in a big gorgeous house with a loving husband
and another
Throwing tempere to others, an old aunty bargain with others for just a small amount of money
And soon when i wake up,

Past: Don’t think about the past. What has happened, has happened. In the past, there’s no internet, no such thing as blog. Look towards the future. i.e winning passes from Nuffnang, blogging more often.
Present: Make a difference. Share your experience, your life, your success, your failure with the people around. Let everyone know that It is INDEED a Wonderful world out there. My Ghost of Christmas Past would show me the happiness I possess while I was a kid when being with my family. No troubles, no worries, only smiles on my face. So not to forget family even though there’s not many chances to reunite with them for they could be here today, gone tomorrow. The same goes to you. Therefore cherish every opportunity you get to be with them as a family.
My Ghost of Christmas Present will tell me that although working is necessary to make a living, but must never forget to go out there and enjoy your life to the fullest because you only live this lifetime once and the present will never return. Hence, take the risk whenever you see the chance for you to be who you are, to be unique, to be an individual and to have some fun!
My Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come will give me a glimpse of how bleak it would be should I ignore the advice of Ghosts of Christmas Past and Present. I’ll be an unhappy, grouchy old man sitting alone in the corner of the street waiting for someone to be a companion to me.

The first little ghost of the Past would tell me to believe that Christmas is so much wonderful that i never could fail myself to miss out the celebration. Mr. Santa Claus does exist. He is the father telling me that exchanging presents with the people that i truly love is thousandth time much meaningful than confessing with words. Do it before you regret. Tell your parents, siblings, friends and the people you love that how much you heart them.
The second little ghost of the Present would ask me to raise a perfect white Christmas tree in my house and decorate it with hundred of bears. Invite the people you truly heart and throw a huge party ever. Kiss them and shower them with the sincerity of a Christmas Angel.
Last but not least, the last little ghost of future would tell me that on this coming Christmas would turn up to be the most valuable and blasting Christmas ever. People love you because you love them! =)

The ghost of Christmas past will tell me that what I have done in the past has already passed and there’s nothing I can do to change it. However, He will tell me how those people felt by the way i treated them so i will not repeat those actions in the future.
The ghost of Christmas present will tell me to enjoy my life to the fullest from day to day and to make someone smile everyday by doing a good deed. I should not regret what i’ll do everyday so it wont haunt my past later on.

Ghosts of Christmas Past would whisper in my ears year after year, “nothing beats christmas at 2009″.
I got bored of it ever since and never went to look for ghosts of christmas past.
Until the year 2009 finally came, I remembered about the advice he told me! It is time to seek the ghost of christmas Present again.
I came up to him and told him if he ever were to say the same words ever again, it is my duty to smack and pinch his face however much I want =)
There it was, the long awaited Christmas 2009 saying, “Have you heard of A Christmas Carol?”

My Ghosts of Christmas Past will tell me to spend as much time with my late Grandma as I possibly can (instead of detaching myself from her) because the memory of her being consumed by the Alzheimer’s will fade but the love I have for her will live on forever.
My Ghosts of Christmas Present will pat me on my back because I had managed to carry the memory of my Grandmother with me and with it both our dreams and even though the journey has not yet end, it is on the right track.
My Ghosts of Christmas Yet to Come will carry a torch for me because even though I had tripped, fallen and stumbled to where I now ended at, I had always managed to see the light at the end of the tunnel (and managed to open the center for Alzheimer’s patients and families that I dreamed of) because now I’ve forgiven myself and now, I am whole.

Well, my Ghost of Christmas Past will tell me that everything passed have passed and nothing you do will can change it but what I can do it keep it as a memory that I will remember forever especially the good ones. Leave ‘bad’ ones behind as lessons to be learned for me to excel further in future.
He will tell me that the present should be cherished and make the best of so that I would not regret not giving my fullest and have fun in everything I do. And he now persuades me to write this post to win those tickets to the “A Christmas Carol (3D)” movie so I would not regret not joining the contest. Besides, winning the ticket would also means I can treat my friend for the last time before he leaves to Aussie for his studies soon. =D

Past: You poor kid, why did you always get hurt by your boyfriend? You have plenty of guys to choose to become your future husband but you chose the one that has worst personality. Just an advice to you, guys that are rich, smart and handsome doesn’t mean they are perfect. The most important is their inner part (personality). Imagine if one day you become a handicapped person, the one with lots of money but without good personality will just hire many servants to take care of you and he will find other girlfriends/wife at the same time. However, a guy with good personality but not wealthy will accompany and take care of you till the day you close your eyes peacefully.
Present: The one that you wish to be with him is the one that have good personality but not wealthy. GOOD CHOICE YOU MADE! Don’t care about what others complain how about him. As long as you both love each other, as long as he willing to take care of you forever, as long as he loves you more than you do, BOTH OF YOU WILL BE TOGETHER FOREVER. Having celebrated my first real Christmas with a half English-Chinese family two years back was truly a memorable time of my Christmas years. It all started with laughters and however, ended in tears. Well, why bring it up? Its another Christmas this year and I believe it would be magical because I’m celebrating it, the first time, with my boyfriend and my two-month old puppy!

Ghost of the Christmas Past: Christmas past will shows me the people and things that I encountered in the past and it reflects to me how I deal and cope with each situation. It will shows how childish I was and what I have lost and learn during the process.
Ghost of the Christmas Present: Christmas present will indeed shows me what I currently have and it will reminds me to appreciate and give what is best to the people I love, shows gratitude and live my live to the fullest so that I wont be regretting in the future.
Ghost of the Christmas Yet to Come: Christmas Yet to come will shows me who is my wife in the future, how my kids will look like and how my house will be like in the future. Thus, it will encourage me to work harder in order to give my loves one what they need and deserve.
Anyhow, I believe the Christmas Spirit will reminds us about our family and friends as Christmas is all about love and appreciation.
As I memang appreciate Nuffnang all this while so as a return I do hope to get a small little pressie such as the tix to the premier screening for A Christmas Carol for this Christmas^^ I hope Santa from Nuffnang will get my wish list and grant me the tix as I have been a good boy this year^^ Hohoho~

My Ghost Of Christmas Past will tell me to throw caution into the wind and instead of struggling for grades on Medicine and trying to make everyone around me happy, I should just go for where my interest really lies and make the best out of it. If it had happened (and I had listened), I would have been a millionaire by now.
My Ghost Of Christmas Present will tell me to relax and slow down a little before I have a heart attack at 26 years of age. I should focus and make the best out of my real interest. If it had happened (and I had listened), I wouldn’t have been admitted in the hospital for hypertension.
My Ghost Of Christmas Yet-To-Come will tell me that it is not too late, I had survived the worst and now, my eyes are open and although some people think I am being selfish, but I am putting myself first and because of that, I manage to become a millionaire by 40, no more hospitalization and STILL make everybody around me happy.
However, if all this does not work, maybe I should just pop an Ativan and go to bed.

ghost of present: you are not getting things you want even you put a lot of efforts but you need to keep trying, pain for 9 hours everyday will be missing soon.

For the Ghost of Christmas from Past, he would tell me that I need to grow up fast and learn all the knowledge there is in the world to become an useful human being.

The ghost of christmas of the past will show me how we dared to dream big as kids, be it a teacher, fireman, movie star. There was no fear in everything, we played with fire crackers, jump of see saws without thinking of the consequences. Life was carefree.
Ghost of christmas present tells me how life is fragile, and by treasuring what we have in front of us now, we won’t let anything precious slip beyond our fingers. The path for what is yet to come, lays in the tracks we choose to leave right this very instant.

First I wish during Christmas, Ghost of Christmas Past would visit me so that, he can bring me to travel around the world in a flash without travelling much. I wish that I can visit differnt country such as Amstredam because i never visit this kind of places before and watch and experience myself of different culture and stuff. Then the next place I love to visit is United State to see the BIG APPLe to see by my own eye than watching through TV. So, i can learn and have fun in the 2 country i chosen because i never travel to this 2 country before. Hope that my dreams would come true. I want to travel because i hardly travel out of the country. I am getting bored of it. Hoping to travel somewhere special if the best i can stay there forever to experience new culture. Because I love to try new stuff then trying all the same stuff all the time.

3 ghost good friends…. Uncle Past loves to tickle me and steal my candy, he’s just like a big kid. I’m somehow afraid of his old wrinkled face and that eagle shaped nose with a big mole on the tip of the nose, but he’s kind at times to protect me from the evil snowmen (they are ugly and disgusting by the way, muddy grey coloured eiw)but I’ll never forget ” You will always be the most shinning star. The food in Phuket is fantastic and not expensive, all the Thais we met were very friendly and eager to advice use. We stayed at Siam Inn- a completely different place to the busy tourist trap in the east of Phuket.
