If you’re a fan of horror movies, you’re in for a scare!

PHOBIA 2 is one of the best selling horror movies in Thailand this year and GSCMOVIES is proud to bring you the fright of your life in Malaysia this coming November 2009!

poster

PHOBIA 2 will bring you a collective of 5 horror stories in 1 movie featuring the talented directors – Banjong Pisanthanakun (Shutter, Alone, 4BIA – In the Middle), Paween Purijitpanya (Body, 4BIA- Tit for Tat), Songyos Sugmakanan (Dorm, Hormones), Parkpoom Wongpoom (Shutter, Alone, 4BIA – Last Fright), and a new director Visute Poolvoralaks the man behind the success of Shutter, Alone, 4BIA, and Coming Soon.

There are 5 short stories in PHOBIA 2 which are:

Novice – For fourteen year old Pey the idea of ‘karma’ is completely irrelevant. Pey has committed a crime so his mom decides that Pey must get ordained to become a Buddhist novice to escape. Under the guise of a monk Pey remains unnoticed as a criminal. However, something deep down inside is bothering him. Will Pey’s Karma catch up with him? As he searches for the answer, the grip of fear tightens as he realizes that ‘Karma’ has no friend or foe when deciding a man’s fate or fortune.

Backpackers – Upon graduation, a young Japanese couple decides to travel around Thailand by backpacking. After failed attempts to hitchhike from Samui Island to Bangkok, the boyfriend waves a 1,000 Baht note in hopes to entice passing cars to pick them up. Finally, a truck driver pulls over and picks them up. What is hiding inside the truck’s trailer? Is there something deeper and darker that lurks behind the kind smiling face of the truck driver who lets them hop in? The answers to these questions will cause an adrenalin rush like no other.

In the End – Ter, Puak, Shin, and Aey are the movie crew of an upcoming horror movie. They are shooting their last scene. On the last night, Ter is trying to be cool and tells one of the cast members that, “the show must go on”. So when that actress accidentally dies during filming she makes sure to come back from the dead to finish her role. The four of them Ter, Puak, Shin and Aey must shoot the movie that has a real ghost playing the role of a ghost in the end!!

Salvage – Nuch is a car dealer. She makes her living by rebuilding severely damaged cars. But little do unsuspecting bargain hunters know, beneath the new upholstery and shiny repainted exteriors are cars with horrific pasts. One night after closing the car garage she discovers her son is missing. Reviewing the security camera tapes she sees her son climb inside a car that she recently bought but nowhere on tape has him climbing out! “Cemetery Garage” where you drive off with more than you bargained for.

Ward – A playful teenager crashes his bike and breaks both legs. At the hospital he is moved from the ER room to a shared room because he is afraid of being alone. But be careful what you wish for. In the room, there is an old man in a coma who has been waiting for almost a month for someone to pull the plug on his oxygen. What happens that night will make him realize that being alone is always better than being around bad company.

If you’re in for a screaming experience with your fellow Nuffnangers on the Premiere Screening of PHOBIA 2 before its release date in Malaysia, just leave a comment in this blog post telling us your phobia (what you’re scared of the most), and don’t spare any juicy details of it.

The thing I’m scared of the most is after watching a Horror Movie. Although I like to watch horror flicks, I always turn down the volume when the scary part comes on. After the movie, I’ll feel very paranoid for the rest of the night. There was once when I didn’t dare to look into the mirror after watching a horror movie (forgot the name). But I guess these are part of watching a Horror movie. The only reason I watch horror movies is because I love going through these kind of adrenaline rushes! Besides, most of the storyline (from horror flicks) are very interesting too.

Ahhh horror movies.. This is something I love to watch very much. The last horror movie I watched was the one called Coming Soon. Same director for Shutter, I really loved watching it.

This happened to someone I know. It happened while they were in a lift in one of the hotels in Genting. Seemingly brave, they went up to a floor which sort of look abandon using the lift. Then realised that after doing so, the lift(elevator) opened, and the whole place seems deserted. There are moss growing around the corridors. Just when he and his friends went out of the lift, the door of the lift suddenly closed. That’s when they decided enough is enough and went to the stairs only to find that it was padlocked. The horror of it, they felt a wind blew through them. Suddenly the lift just open, and they just left the place.

For now, most of them have the phobia of not simply exploring places or rather don’t come out of the lift if it stops in an eerie looking floor.

Darn I am evil. wrote this story on my spook blog too.

What I scared of the most is condominium or apartment house that have lift. I stay at pelangi Utama Damansara because of my internship program at one of event company at petaling jaya.

It’s happened just last week when I planning to throw my rubbish at dustbin outside my house. I went out and suddenly saw 1 grandma crying face to wall. What the hack she doing around 1am in the morning? I look at her leg, but it’s touch floor. Since I throw a rubbish downstairs, I need to take a lift. Then when I waiting for the lift, I keep remember a horror movie which is most of the ghost at lift. I straight away take stairs and run into my house.

My greatest phobia is hearing motorbike engine sound getting near to me!!

Because i was being robbed by a man with a boning knife(knife used for removing the bones of poultry and meat), instead of surrendering my stuff i screamed and tried to run away to the opposite direction(how dare is me O_o) But unfortunately i felt because the man push me and try to grab my bag until the residents run out then he escaped. (In fact the residents thought i was fighting with my BOY FRIEND since they didnt saw the knife on his hand)

I feel i was extremely lucky that i didnt get hurt in that incident cause i could be killed if the man got mad because i refused to surrender my stuff(with his boning knife!!!!).

Since this incident almost lead me to the edge of death, it bring the scariest phobia to me NEVER ever walk alone and always alert to the surrounding !!

My scariest phobia happened when i was 11 years old. I still remember when i was playing near a pond in the village.A small pond which surrounded with bushes and hidden from people’s view. I just sat there watching my cousins throwing some stones into the pond when I felt someone push me into the pond…WTF! I was 11 at that time and didn’t even know how to swim… The pond was so deep. I couldn’t feel the ground, it’s like there is no ending in the water. Something was pulling my legs in the pond while I was struggling to have oxygen… I was so scared until I forgot to scream asking for help. Lucking few minutes later, somebody walking nearby saw me and quickly grabbed my hair…Oh, God I’m still alive… Till now, I didn’t know who pushed me into the pond and what is the thing pulling my legs in the water…

The scariest phobias was during the Chinese ghost festival which is July 14 in Chinese calender. I still remember that period of time I was watching Incredible Tales ‘灵异怪谈 ‘ with my family at night. Incredible Tales talks about how they experience in catching ghost and spirit. I thought that it won’t be so scary at first and so I continue watch. When come to one part (which is more scary part), the camera man actually capture something. Although was not that clear but is something white in color. Super freak me off~ When I going to sleep, my mind keep thinking of that part and makes me cannot sleep. Beware of taking pictures at dark place especially at night and do not comb hair after 12am. Something unexpected might happen.

what im afraid of the most is to be in tight spaces. i am claustrophobic. i hate being in tight spaces since i was young. Everytime i get in tight spaces , i tend to want to move , i push to get free. There were many times when i feel that way ( eventhough im not in tight spaces ) my left leg , 2nd toe from d left will bend facing 90 degrees outright. its really spooky and it hurts alot ! at times my whole feet from straight facing d earth will curl and it looks like a ballet’s feet. it hurts alot as well. im not afraid of heights nor am i afraid of insects but what im afraid is only of tight spaces.

ps: the story is true =)

My scariest phobia is when my dreams come true. What makes you think that dreams come true indicate a good sign? It is not and it will never be. Few years back, I dreamed that the ceiling suddenly crack and fall on my brother’s leg. And few days later, my brother got hit by a car and his left leg was broken. That’s really creepy and every time I think about it, I felt it seems like there was some force that cannot be seen. o.o

By the way, it’s a true story O.O

there was this 1 time , me and my family we went to cameron highlands. It was suppose to be another boring weekend out. but this time we went to the bee farm at cameron highlands. it was reli fun to see how they play around with the bees and collected the honey. Then at 1 point we were allowed to go near the bees, right at that time there’s this bee which flew n landed on my cheek. i got afraid and i told my brother to help me get rid of it. my brother said to let it be, if you dont disturb it, it wont disturb you. but i guess that saying was wrong. that bee stung me. it was my 1st time got stung by a bee and it hurts alot. i started crying and the man incharge of the bee said do not pull the sting out. instead he applied some honey onto it. from that day onwards whenever i see any flying insects around,i will be frighten and tends to remember about that day ! since then , im Entomophobia.

My BIGGEST phobia is being afraid of the dark.

I’m a big horror movie fan and i have very vivid gruesome images implanted in my head. The3 creepiest feeling comes when i go for trips and i have NO choice but to stay alone by myself in a room. I literally feel like someone is in the room with me and is lurking around in every corner. I hate to look at mirrors, if fear that i might see something ‘unwanted’. I’m scared of receiving calls because i might hear voices that do not belong to humans. I fear looking under the bed because i have this strange fear that clowns will drag you under. I am scared to snuggle up under the covers because i think that something or someone may be crawling in from the bottom of the bed.

I fear the dark lastly because of unseen things.

I think that people are the most scariest thing..
When I was in secondary school, I came across to an incident whereby I had to take bus back to my house after tuition session at the main bus stop.
It was 9pm when i reached the main bus stop and the bus that i wanted to take was no more in service.
Then, I phoned my parents and they were not at home and so I had to wait.
Suddenly, there was a guy who ordered the woman sitting next to me to move so that he can sit beside me.I was so afraid at that moment as I can see that he was a drug addict and that he wanted to do something to me.I was so afraid and luckily the woman sitting next to me didn’t move away and my parents came in time.
Since then, I always think that people are the most scariest thing because they can harm us and the chances of meeting bad people is higher than meeting a ghost..
That’s why when i’m home alone, the first thing which comes into my mind is about people but not ghost..
and I actually like watching ghost movies as it can help me to release stress..

I think the 2 scariest phobias for me would be acrophobia ( fear of heights) and entomophobia (fear of insects). The second one only applies to cockroaches though. =P

Whenever I look down on high grounds, I can’t help but to think of what it feels like to jump down. Sometimes i feel so tempted to try LOL! Curiosity killed the cat, BUT… It cant kill me, for I am a scaredy cat with shaky legs when that happens ;P

As for cockroaches.. I think I started being scared of them since young. I remember an incident that happened to me whan I was young. Back at my old house, theres this long wooden stick I liked to play with~ One fine day, someway somehow… I kinda swung that stick and broke the ceiling and several huge ass cockroaches hell ON AND AROUND ME!! WTF! I swear they really stink! Few months back, I slept on the sofa coz I kinda spot a cockroach behind my bed… ish~~ -_-||

I suppose it would be a terrifying nightmare if I were to be suspended 100m above ground level with flying cockroaches hovering around me <_<||

I often heard people saying that it’s not good to take pictures at night. But did we ever take it seriously? No, we didn’t and so did i. I rememeber the time when me and my friends were so obsessed with camera phone. we snaped pictures like hundred times a day.Regardless of where or when.

So one night, when i was messing around with my friend’s camera phone, i decided to snap a picture of my two friends who were sitting beside my bed. While they were getting ready to pose, and i was getting ready to focus on them, all of the sudden, i saw “a girl” with long black hair, with black dress laying on my bed and was staring at me.

I din’t dare to scream coz i know my two friends would freak out. I looked through all the pictures in my friends phone, to see if there was any image such as the. I thought i may be seeing wrong but after looking hard at all the folders in the camera, there were none.

The scarriest part was, the girl that i saw in the phone was looking alomost exactly like one of my friend..only scarrier..and had longer black hair..

A year later, despite of experiecing the mysterious and scarriest incident of a girl in the camera, the sam ething happened to me again..

This time was when me and my family had to rent a house a few blocks from our own house due for the renovation. One night, i was messing around with my camera phone and snap a picture of myself infront of the mirror..

When i was done, i tried to upload it in my PC, that’s when i realized, that there was another image behind me, with long hair but i couldn’t see her face coz the hair covered the whole body..

I thought it was my sister trying to pull some crazy prank but then i remember that the time i took the picture, i was alone in the room.

After these two incidents..i dare not to take pictures during at night..especially in front of the miror at night..you b=never know ‘whoelse’ will be in your pics..

This is my deepest and scarriest phobia. I’m sharing this based on my true experiance. We’ve been warned for good reason but we choose to ignore it until you have to pay for it.

Unlike Most men, i was once afraid of the cockroaches. They totally freak me out in all the feminine ways where i would scream on high pitch, do rolls on the ground and even jump on table. Usually at any sight of these alienated creatures would be enough to send me packing home regardless of where i was.

However, this fear one day, was amplified and cured altogether in one night where a dreaded friend drove me to Port Klang where this Cockroaches infestation was by the millions. The threw, a mindless couple of this bugs into my pant, shirt and even hair which froze me up instantly. I almost, sincerely died a few seconds and my mind was already at pearly gate waiting to be judge

Miraculously this incident cured me of Cockroaches and i am no longer afraid…..i think

There’s nothing I fear more than creep crawling insects.

There was once where a cockroach was flyin around. I screamed my lungs out and ran to climb to the nearest chair. Not like it helped much, coz as we all know, cockroaches can fly (arg!).

My brother came to my rescue by swatting the cockroach (RIP) with a rolled up newspaper. But, he being him, took the dead cockroach and chased me around the house with it. I screamed til I lost my voice that day. And I was in tears.

    That’s how much I fear insects! :(

my scariest phobias was when during secondary schooll went for a camping trip.
then during the night when every 1 was asleep, and i suddenly woke up without any reason or dream then trying to sleep back, that is when suddenly i heard a group of ppl marching and dragging their feet on the sand that created that sound! then i woke up and see, the sound stop and there is no one around. I start to freak out! so quickly cover myself with the blanket and force myself to sleep and the sounda appear again. Then not long after that I fall asleep.

now, at night if i hear the sound of ppl walk by dragging on the floor with sand i would tremble abit reminds me of that time~

Well, as a plain student doing normal stuff, i don’t experience any horror scenes, except for this one. It was actually a normal day in hostel, if im not mistaken, its a Sunday 4 a.m. Why I remember that day? Because in the college hostel, sunday morning is the most empty and quiet time, and my roommate went back to his hometown. That time some thing bazaar happened. At the edge of waking up, I heard noises of a plastic chair pulling. The sound was quite near, so I thought I wanted to wake up and have a search of which dude playing with chairs up in the break of dawn. May be is some dude upstairs, having that in my mind. But the funny thing is that I couldn’t get up. My eyes are wide open, all my five, actually four, as that time i couldn’t speak too, and all my muscle in my body doesn’t obey my brain’s command. I could only there listening the pulling plastic chair. You might wanna ask why not use my eyes to see, but at that time, don’t know whether is fortunate or unfortunate, my head was tilt to the right side, facing the wall beside me and the source of the sound is (my sleeping position, sorry), when i listen carefully, is from my back, probably its my roommate’s chair. That noisy sound and my unmovable body, last about, in my mind and time, about 10 minutes? I’ve learnt that this phenomenon is called, in Japanese, Kanashibari (don’t know about english). That shocking experience gave me a aftermath, till today, and probably forever, which is sleeping with a light on if I’m sleeping alone. Call me childish, but if you are in my shoe, or pajammas, what would you do?

Like any other college student, I do emphasize on my studies and results. So it is a phobia for me to check my result online during my semester break. For your information my semester break is just 3 weeks and normally the results will be out during the second week. So it is very scary and pressure when checking the result as if fail means I will have to do my revision and study AGAIN for the rest of my semester break thus it means no break at all! And it is a phobia going back to campus after the semester break as everyone will start to tease you and at the same time you will need to deal with the pressure of being both scold by parents and the pressure to deal with the supplementary paper on the first day back in college. So to me, it is a phobia to check my results online during my semester break when taking into consideration of knowing what will happen if I fail.

Mine is the dreams which actually come true somewhere in the future when you least expect it . whenever i wake up with me knowing myself had a dream but cant remember what is the actual dream is about , scares me the most . As i had few of this kind of dream which it actually become true , and i only realise it when it happen where i can surely tell myself , i’ve seen this vision before , so familiar till im scared . It hurt and scares me the most one time when i realise that i actually dream and seen before this situation , which is the day i was , in my dad’s funeral . So im really phobia dreaming something that i can’t recall whenever i wake up …….. i rather not having this kind of dream which i can do nothing to make any changes …….

my biggest phobia is when I am up awake all alone watching TV late at night in my grandmother’s house.

The house is so big and deep that i cannot see the end of the house at night. And when the old grandfather clock rings 12 times at midnight, it feels like i’m in a horror movie. When there’s a heavy storm, the winds would blow very strongly and the it will have a chilling ghostly sound from the windows.

After watching the tv, I would turn off all the lights and quickly run back to my room as soon as possible because i was too afraid of the darkness.

Thanks goodness I’m all grown up now. But everytime when I still stay up late, I get reminded of how scared i was last time :-)

My scariest phobia is that every time if i have a feeling that, there are people are watching at me. I would feel that I wanted to kill myself because it feel like someone is looking at me what i am doing everyday. Sometimes when I am at home alone I will always look outside at my house and wait to see if there is anybody around. Before I going to sleep I will have a sound on my head that are laughing and that make my head hurt so bad. When I am sleeping I will dream all the weird stuff the scariest among all my dream is that the whole world is empty and only left me, and then it will be always dark. So when I was walking back home a car suddenly flew towards me, and miss me a few inches. Then I rush back home and hid under the bed. I feel a lot of scary noise for example footstep, weird sound, knocking sound. When I feel so scared I run out and fall into a big hole, inside the hole there are a lot of dead body with blood all over them. I keep shouting and shouting for help. Because the hole is too high to climb out. I try to dig under and there are no way out. Then a car was thrown into the hole and head my head unconscious. When I woke up I found that i been tied into a bed. A person was slowly cutting bit by bit of my body. Then when he cut open my body, he was trying to cut my heart out. Finally when he remove my heart and finally i was dead

My scariest phobia is to sleep alone in the house
(even I always have to because everyone is either went for work or school)
    or stay alone at home.

1st it was because there were a number of times when
I was sleeping and suddenly woke up but
found myself couldn’t even move and scream(I tried so hard to scream).
until I start to pray or mumble some vulgar words then only I can move again.
I am very sure I was very conscious at that time.NOT dreaming.
It happens more than 5times just when I’m at home ALONE
which means where there is people at home,it won’t happen.
It became even worst last Friday when I saw a shadow walked outside my room!
(my door wasn’t close b’cuz my sister won’t close it when she leave the house)
I thought it was my mum but latter found out no one at home!

2nd was because my house got broken in twice in a year
and was caught in fire last month.
How if I died killed by theft when I was sleeping or
become a roasted pig because of the burning.wtf.

and I always heard noises around me even when I am asleep!

I am Astrophobic. I am scared of thunder and lightning. Lightning especially. When I was younger, I would seek a small secluded place, preferably a dark corner at the end of the room or a corner in the bathroom and stay in there until the thunder and lightning is gone. As I grow older, I had to make myself braver because I have to drive to go to class and so forth but the phobia is still in me. Sometimes when I drive in the heavy rain and there are lightning, I will unceremoniously close my eyes. I know it’s dangerous. Luckily nothing bad happened – yet.

I know I have to overcome my fear, like how people who fears water try to overcome it by swimming. But I always have this thought that if I’d been struck by lightning, I’ll be the most overcooked meat in the world – and that will not look very pretty. Or, I could be like that guy in the movie “Powder” – just go “poof” into thin air. Or, maybe I’ll be taken into another kingdom where Zeus really exists and I’ll be tortured for coming into the path of his lightning.

See? I’m talking nonsense. And it’s all because the idea of thunder and lightning just scares the living daylight out of me.

I hate COCKROACHES!! And I don’t just mean the Madagascar roaches that those people ate in Fear Factor (OMG, I don’t know how they can stomach that insect…) but the roaches we find in our homes, in our backyard, the ones that can be seen by the drains or the side of the kedai “mamak” and some can even fly.. Oh Lord! I hate them! I hate them!

I think the height of my “hate” relationship with roaches happened when I was 11 years old. I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom when I felt something stinging at the back of my waist. I touched the place and felt “something” sticking there. It was quite painful. I was jumping and yelling and flapping the “something” but still it did not let go and the pain increased. That was one big cockroach. In the end, my Dad had to help pry the roach from my back and there was tiny little hole marks at my back for the next few days. I wonder how it went up my nightgown. Oh, I’m not going to imagine what will happen if I was fully naked underneath! Oh yuck yuck yuck!

And now when I see cockroaches, I run for my life. Just seeing them scuttling about gives me goosebumps. Yuck!

My phobia is being alone in Small CLOSED up DARK room/space.

When i was 7 years old, My family and I was at Bangkok for vacation. I was outside the room waiting for the lift with daddy, while waiting for mummy to double check the hotel room before leaving. The lift arrived and being a small kid, i ran into the lift first, pressed the ‘G’ button, and the door closed automatically even when i press the “open button” on the lift, while daddy was pressing the “down” button to prevent it from closing. But everything happened so fast, the door closes, the lift was going down, I was in the lift alone, and everything was pitch black and I was feeling cold. I freaked out like crazyyy, i cried and cried and cried. I have no idea how long i was stuck in the lift alone, but it was long for me.

The lift stopped at the ground floor(the lobby) and the light was back on, and the door open. I saw some familiar faces(daddy’s friends). I was so so glad to see them, I ran out from the lift and i gave them a big hug while i was still crying.

Ever since that day, I start sleeping with the lights on, and being in small closed up space makes me feel suffocating. But I am glad that psychologically, I can still take the lift alone, while singing my fav song in the lift to overcome my fear.

He and with his gf past away in car accident. I could not believe it until I see him lying in the coffin when I cant even recognise his face as his face was smashed. For months before this I couldn’t sleep well because I could not understand why this happened to him, and when I close my eyes I think of him and I think of myself, I keep thinking if I die like him and what if I go out driving and got into accident. But I am in my 20s and I havent do much yet, see enough of the world. Every single day of my life I worry about when I will die, what happens to my bf, parents and sibling. Will there be life after death??

Until recently I opened up and talked about it with my family/friends that life is too short to worry, you only have ONE chance and enjoy it. We never know if we going die tomorrow. if we will make sure we live with no regret, so can see why now i shop like mad & live like there is no tomorrow!!! I also want to make sure my family & bf knows that I love them every moments and if I die today, please donate all my organs away to help others to survive!

then you get yourself out of your room and sleep on the sofa in the living room.

you had some soft of dream…
    something is there,
you open your eyes in the dream…
    everything very real…

    after a second…
you yourself are actually awake but you can do anything…
    something is sleeping on you!!!

    the feeling so real…
    you cant shout,
    cant move,
    only the eyes can move!!!!

    freaking scary

I hope I’m not too late, been really busy with class and stuff. Alright here goes..

My biggest fear would be picture portraits hung on walls.

You know how old houses especially houses built in the late 60’s occupied by traditional Chinese would have picture portraits of their family member hung up in the living hall or hallway. Before the passing of my grandfather, I would visit my grandparents’ when I was a lil kid. The place is like a wooden semi-d house where there’s a long hallway connecting the kitchen and the living room. Along the corridor, there are portraits of my late great grandparents, granduncles and many other relatives I never knew, all in black and white. Their poses are mostly the same, they face straight and look right at you. I always hate to walk the hallway especially at night because it always gives a creepy feeling and to top it off that part is always dimly lit as it’s only litted by a single bulb.

There was once, dead in the night when I was rudely awakened by “Nature’s Call”. I tried to make my mom accompany me but she was too tired and just shrugs me away. I had to use the toilet but it’s all the way at the kitchen which also means I HAVE to pass by that hallway. In desperation, I gather up all my courage and went alone towards the kitchen where the toilet is. After finishing my “business”, I head back to the room, heartbeating quicker every second. I walk as fast as I could and although it’s just a few second, it felt like an hour! I swear when I pass by that hallway, I can ‘feel’ the heads on the portrait turned accordingly, following my every move. I never took a glance at it but I’m certain at that feeling, that feeling that someone/something is watching me..

So now whenever I see old portraits like that elsewhere, an eerie feeling would creep up inside of me. Thanks for reading.

My phobia is lizards. I don’t know why, but I’ve been afraid of lizards since forever.

I once dreamed that i was in this small room with no doors or windows. i was standing on a stool right in the middle of the room, and there were thousands of lizards crawling all over the room!!! The walls, the floor, even the ceiling!! It does not get any scarier than that.

Are you guys gonna bring lizards to the premier if i win?

    Here it goes again..
Hope this doesn’t ruin my chances.. ;)

    My scariest phobia. simple.
    Getting buried alive.

Catching your last breath with total darkness,
no being able to move a limb,
screaming with no one being able to hear you.
    A slow death..
with your last thoughts of your family, friends and loved ones.

    `Imagine yourself in that~

I am so afraid of lizards! Really, its horrible! The COLOUR of lizards itself SCARE me. There’s just something about that odd yellow-brown colour, that squishy body, its like they have no bones, those beady eyes, seriously those beady eyes, and THEIR FEET? have you seen their feet? Its like WEBBED and so tiny that its GROSS. And their amazing ability to stick to the walls scare me as well, because sometimes they lose that ability and just end up on the floor somewhere. Its gross! Especially when you accidentally step on them. And there’s no sure way to kill them! Spraying shieldtox does no good, because they shed their tail which WIGGLES still despite being cut off, WHICH IS SCARY as well! Once I was about to go to the toilet, then just as I was about to plonk myself on the seat, this lizard fell out of nowhere a few meters away. Rest assured, my bowel functions were given a humongous shock I never needed to go to the toilet anymore. I ran out screaming, like a little girl. :) Really, lizards suck. ): The combination of that odd colour, the webbed feet, the icky body which I imagine has little pores all over, those beady black eyes and that removable tail! Everyone should have lizard phobia.

I have a phobia when it comes to watching horror/ghost movie. This is because there was one time I was watching horror/ghost movie, the cinema was quite empty. I was sitting at the corner last row. While I was watching halfway, suddenly there was this guy with white shirt appeared at the other corner. I ignored and continued my movie. I was curious and I looked again and he disappeared! I looked around and found he was at the back standing at the corner staring at the EXIT sign board. I turn to the front to tell my friends and when my friends wanted to find out what happened, he disappeared again. He was sitting at the original place. Then, in few minutes, he was staring at the EXIT sign board again. I was very unpleasant throughout the whole movie. From that day onwards, I had phobia watching horror/ghost movie.

Its not scary where the ugly ghost that has blood or 3rd degree burned face that you can’t even recognize its face.. Its not even scary if you saw a headless ghost or ghost that hasn’t trim its hair for ages and in the end the hair covered its face.. it is even funnier when you see a ghost in red or white dress cause the one in red wanted to be sexy still after death and the one in white is trying to remain naive which both don’t know that their overdosed foundation on their face made them look so out of the trend.

When a lady with a pair of big eyes full with hatred and open her eyes to the max excitedly and smiling widely at you, like a doll come alive and came out from the side of the mirror. Having classical music cue-ed along with her cunning smile. When you look into Japanese doll with big mesmerizing eyes.. soon you will notice they seem telling you something through their eyes and move around while you’re asleep.. Laughter of the evil.

Dollphobiatism(own created name)URGH I HATE DOLLS especially horror ones with doll or children as the main character urgh urgh urgh just give me a teddy bear.

talking about phobia. it must be the thing or event that scared me most.
and i think it is when i lost my loved one. the one who i really care and really adore.
i afraid to lose them, but i have to accept the faith, they people must go.
i mean the real go. not with the meaning comes and go. *sigh*

my phobia start when my nanny died. i love her. and i really adore her.
everything pass real fast and i cant think of any word to say. i think she
will be able to see me holding hand with my kids one day but i am wrong.
she go and its unexpected. then, there start my phobia. after my nanny died,
my beloved uncle leave us. then my niece. my very cute little niece.
and then i start thinking, why everyone that i love must go? then it start my phobia.

i start thinking bad thing. im worried if my parent do not pick up my call.
im afraid if my parent went back home more than 7pm. im afraid if my sister chilling
with her friends. im afraid if everyone is not beside me. im afraid if everyone is not
gather during dinner. im afraid if i do not here my dad snoozing. and now im afraid

i still remember when i was very young and as kids, we were always very naughty.

my brothers and i was playing under a staircase where we had to kinda bend down to go under it.
With all excitement and fun we were having, we laughed and laughed that we even forget that
our heads were very close the ‘ceiling’ (its kinda rough and a little sharp)

I was running here and there. Then, out of a sudden, i got a shock then i lifted my head so fast that i hit the ‘ceiling’ under the staircase so hard. It was very very hard.

I started saying to my brothers it was really really pain and i wanted to go back home.
Using the lift, halfway up, blood started flowing down my left and right side of my head.
It was literally flowing down left and right.
I WAS SO SCARED as i thought there is a hole in my head of something like that.
You know, as kids, obviously we’re scared noticing so much blood at once. ESPECIALLY from our own heads! :(

It was really scary. Then, my dad rushed me to the clinic and have the doctor stitch my head.
OMG! I can really feeling it poking in and out my head. The stitch feels very scary.
YOUR HEAD + STITCHING. I was so scared till the extend where i even thought they could have seen my skull.

One word explains all this feelings. KID. :)

It is not just a phobia to me, but it is a long long nightmare that bothering you for life.
My story, my phobia. When i was about teenager, form 1 or 2, when i was brushing my teeth, it comes a little sound from behind. Behind me was a balcony. It was late 2 or 3am i was remembered. The sound was just like someone breathing, but very slow, very slow breathe.. uuh.. uuuh… uuh.. uuuh.. uuuuuuh… You felt that someone is starring at you. While i turned my head over, its nothing. However, i still can clearly heard the sound. It keeps breathing. Actually i can’t see clearly my balcony since i was under the light, the balcony was totally dark and quiet. You can imagine that the light above will interfere your viewing abit. That abit made you missed out “something”, maybe. But since then, i never heard any sound of it. “He” or “She” never appears anymore. Till now, i’m very bother if someone behind me. I can felt that “something” but actually it is not exist. Behind me is actually no one. I’m doing this all the time, my eyes look beside, and turn my head over, just to make sure there is nothing there. Even though there is no body, but that “something” is actually “staying” in your mind. They just never gone, never wanted to. That’s the phobia, following me the rest of my life.

I LOVE horror movies but I think i’m rather weak-hearted if i’m in a real ghost situation.

There was once I went to Genting with my aunt and cousins. As we were going back to the room after a day’s activity, the electronic keys seems to have problem unlocking the door. I’ve tried like 3-4 times but the door still couldn’t open.
Then suddenly a hand showed up beside me… My aunt knocked on the door and says “Sorry for disturbing, we’re coming in.”
I got a big shock at this act of hers, kinda had a big jump backwards, far away from the door. Then the most amazing thing happened.. Right after the knock, she tried the keys again and the door OPENED!!

Just by thinking of it still gives me the creeps… I mean, I’ve heard about this kinda things many times but actually knocking on the door and apologize to “someone” inside the roomm?
    omg… Goosebumps…

My curiosity always kills me whenever I go. Just only the other day I went for a jog in the Metropolitan Park near my place. Next to the park, there was an old mansion. Without anything coming across my mind, curiously, I walked into the house which was partially concealled by the long “lallang”. The mansion was no doubt big, old, spooky and dark. In the middle of the mansion, lies a swimming pool. On the side of the pool, there were joss sticks and some other praying paraphernalia. And on the second floor, there were a number of alters of the ancestors with some chinese words engravings. I was shocked and later to find out that, the mansion is already 100 years old or more and it has been abandoned since there was incident a woman killed herself in the pool. The truth really sent shiver down my spine and I swear I will never enter an abandoned house or building again. Thanks God it was only evening when I was in the house.

I am phobic of water, specifically rivers and swimming pools.
When I was in primary school, the only thing that attracted me the most when I went back to my mother’s hometown was river.
Behind my granny’s house, there was a river and me with my cousins always gathered at the river, it was like a favourite place to all of us.
Most of my cousins knew how to swim and they taught me how, so I guessed I could swim.
We liked to bath at the river after heavy rains.
At one particular time, I was so excited to jump into the river when I saw my cousins did so with various styles.
I wanted to surprise them with my skills and techniques, please note I was the youngest among them and young kids love attention.
Unfortunately, they were busy talking and swimming, and they didn’t see me jumping into the river, and far from my guess, I couldn’t swim because the river was very deep.
I was drowning and no one noticed. I may die at any time.
Suddenly, one cousin saw me and she quickly grabbed my hand.
Now, here I am, typing this experience.
I never go to that river again and I’m also phobic of swimming pools as I always picture myself drowning.
I guess this phobia will never end. Hahaha..
