Nuffnang X GSC Horrorfest

The Objective

Nuffnang Malaysia organizes movie premiere screenings at least once a week in a year. With the frequent number of premieres that Nuffnangers enjoy, we wanted to create a movie marathon in conjunction with Halloween. To put together the occassion, we partnered with GSC Cinemas and ran social media campaigns at the same time to create awareness of their horror movie promotions in the month of October.

The Big Idea

The goal was to create a highlight for all Nuffnang movie premieres with a horror movie marathon. 200 pairs invites were grabbed at an instant by all active Nuffnangers to be a part of the first movie marathon ever organized by Nuffnang. Nuffnang and ChurpChurp ran social media campaigns that helped generate pre event awareness among the blogging community and their followers too.

The Result

On the day of the marathon, all invited Nuffnangers dressed in their best Halloween outfit and some of the best dressed Nuffnangers were rewarded with prizes from GSC. The ground floor lobby of GSC Cinemas was converted into a mini horror house for the occasion with famous horror movie characters roaming the event to entertain all guests. The spooky crowd of over 400 Nuffnangers bloggers and and their guests got to enjoy a Halloween inspired feast before we spooked each other out with the release of 3 latest horror movies handpicked by GSC Cinemas. Spooky moments from the event were captured and shared on social media platforms, creating awareness to GSC Cinema's horror movie fest along with their campaign that ran on our platforms.
