Nuffnang Featured Blogger for the month of March

I blog, therefore I am.

I am a blogger that is, unsurprisingly as this a focus on a certain blogger. Well enough of that and welcome to Nuffnang. I am ShaolinTiger, a supposedly quite well known blogger in Malaysia, although my origin is British I call Malaysia my home.

I write about a variety of subjects on my site http://www.shaolintiger.com and especially enjoy writing about food, photography, travel (including SCUBA diving), my car, computing and geek stuff and a few other random subjects that I toss in the salad from time to time. Although I feel like I’ve traveled an awful lot (work takes me all over the place) , I’ve only actually visited 7% of the world.

I work in information security, but I don’t write much about that as interests only a few very niche people, mostly those who work in the same industry. My popular posts are those about food, especially with recipes and those that are slightly more controversial as I tend to be able to give a balanced view about Malaysia from the perspective of a foreigner. My most recent hobby is photography, so I’ve been writing quite a lot about that, I started taking pictures seriously in June 2006, so it’s been a sharp learning curve since then.

I also really love my car, and enjoy racing and modifying it, but I don’t really write about that as the local scene is more into how big your spoiler is or how big your sub-woofer is, which is not really my thing.
