Nuffnang Featured Blogger for the month of November

I was still in my deep sleep when Timothy a.k.a Boss Stewie gave me a call.

“Mr. Mumbles.”
“Yes, boss?”
“Let me ask you one question.”
“Uh huh?”
“What do Shaolin Tiger, Kenny Sia, Cely, Suanie, Jolene have in common?”
“They are all celebrity and popular bloggers in Malaysia?”
“Yes but they are also Nuffnang featured bloggers.”
“You mean I am going to be November’s featured blogger?”
“Yes.”

I slumped back to sleep after that. -sweat- I was really excited about it but I slept at 7am that particular morning and it was 1.17pm when he called. Forgive me, Timothy, if I sounded not excited at all.

Well, my name is Jason Lioh, better known as Jason Mumbles or Mr. Mumbles for Timothy and Samantha / Wen Qi. It’s very easy to recognize me on the streets as I am standing tall at 1.83m, huge, has a super big tummy (like 10 months pregnant) and most of the time, is bald and / or crew cut.

I mumble a lot, hence, “Jason Mumbles“. Nothing fancy about it.

I blog almost about everything, from my life, events and happenings, work, holiday trips, foods and the occasionally, inner thoughts. However, most of my readers and visitors recognize me as a food blogger as I have more posts on food category than any other categories. As for me, I don’t think I am a hardcore food blogger, but, oh well, you can’t decide what other people thinks of you, right?

I have been a humble and small supporter of Nuffnang when co-founder Timothy offered me a sneak preview before and after its official launch during early 2007. Earning a few dollars from blog advertising was not my biggest priority (Although I do complain to Timothy whenever I feel I was underpaid.) but rather to support a friend that I got to know through blogging and co-founded Asia’s first blog advertising company, Nuffnang with founder Ming.

Why Nuffnang?

Very simple. It pays very well and the people behind Nuffnang are not just a bunch of empty talkers. They keep to their words and they know what they are doing and up to against. How much have I earned through Nuffnang? Let’s just say, I am currently looking forward to a brand new Sony Ericsson K800i by March 2008, exactly one year from the date I joined Nuffnang. Then, I can proudly tell everyone that Nuffnang has sponsored me this mobile phone. Just stay tune.
